In today’s lecture Paul went through the my new brief for this module which is:

BREIF- Design a digital product for the healthcare sector.

Paul told us that writing informs practice - helps for final year, and that we should look at this as a precursor for final year major project!

Health is a design problem - and the design council thinks so the NHS emmence pressure, giving me a lot of options to explore.

So who is your digital product aimed at? - paramedics / public/ doctors, this could be aimed at anything. Are you targeting healthcare professionals what age are they? Where are they? Do they have access to digital devices? What will your product do?? There are so many questions that I need to ask myself when beginning this project.

Possible solutions-

• a digital wall at a children's hospital to keep children and parents waiting, relaxed
• self assessment chat for old people

Week 1 to do-

• research the hell out of ux and healthcare
• teams and solo
• begin group work
